Alex Ciccone

Alex Ciccone is an associate at Garrod Pickfield where he practices environmental, municipal and land-use planning law.

Alex articled for a large national law firm where he gained experience in civil litigation and environmental law. He has experience appearing in courts and tribunals and advising multi-national corporate clients on legislative compliance.

During his legal studies Alex worked on the judicial review of the federal approval of the PNW LNG project, which had the potential to be Canada’s largest greenhouse gas emitter to date. Alex also worked at a poverty law firm, providing pro-bono services to low income individuals.

Before attending law school, Alex completed a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at the University of Guelph.

Outside the office, Alex can be found running, woodworking or paddling his homemade canoe.
